FIVE INGREDIENTS · PLUS A NATURAL SCENT

What's in the lip balm.

Five things, plus a natural scent if you pick one. That's the whole formula. No synthetic flavour, no menthol fakery, no plasticisers.

SOURCE
Cold-pressed from California-grown sweet almonds.
WHY IT'S HERE
Spreads thin and even, sinks in fast. Rich in vitamin E with no greasy residue.
THE BALM

Kraft tube, slim, plastic-free.

The reason it's kraft paper and not a plastic tube: the balm doesn't need plastic to work, and neither does the packaging. Push it up, swipe it on, cap it.

Push-up stick

Push it up from the base, swipe it on, cap it. No fingers in the balm.

Slim enough for any pocket

63mm × 22mm.

Kraft paper, not plastic

A paper tube in place of the plastic stick. No plastic body, no plastic cap.

Made in Ontario

Whipped, filled, and sealed by hand in London.

Kraft tube, slim, [plastic-free.]
WHAT YOU'LL NOTICE

Days, not weeks.

Petroleum-based balms keep you reaching every hour — the wax forms a barrier but doesn't condition. A lanolin-and-beeswax base actually conditions, so you reapply less, not more.

DAY 01

It sinks in fast. Dry, tight lips feel comfortable within the hour.

DAY 03

You reach for it two or three times a day, not every hour. Conditioned, not just coated.

DAY 07

Less of the daily tightness. The mint version adds a cooling tingle from real peppermint.

VS DRUGSTORE LIP BALM

The petroleum-stick trap.

O'NaturelleRECOMMENDED
  • Beeswax seal — breathable, real protection from wind and cold
  • Lanolin for deep conditioning — closest match to your own sebum
  • Sweet almond + coconut for active conditioning
  • Vitamin E — antioxidant that protects the oils and conditions the lip
  • Real peppermint oil (mint) — genuine cooling, not synthetic menthol
  • Kraft paper tube, no plastic body or cap
  • A balm that conditions, so you reach for it less
Drugstore lip balm
  • Petroleum-derived wax (paraffin) — coats but doesn't condition
  • Mineral oil — sits on the surface
  • Synthetic flavouring — the 'sweetness' you can taste
  • Drying alcohols often added as carriers
  • Synthetic menthol can feel drying over time
  • Plastic tube + cap — single-use, ends in a landfill
  • Reapplied through the day, every day
FAQ

Five ingredients. No synthetic flavour.

Got a question that isn't here? We read every email —  contact@onaturelle.co

Why a paper tube instead of plastic?
Plastic tubes get tossed after one use. Kraft paper does the same job without the plastic. Push it up, swipe it on, cap it, and there's nothing plastic left over when it's finished.
What's actually in it?
Five ingredients: sweet almond oil, beeswax, coconut oil, lanolin, vitamin E. The scented versions add a natural scent: peppermint oil in Mint, lemon and sweet orange oil in Citrus, vanilla oleoresin in Vanilla. No synthetic flavour, no petroleum, and no synthetic menthol.
The mint one tingles a bit, is that normal?
Yes! Although uncommon, as we use such a low percentage of oil, that's real peppermint oil doing what peppermint does. It's a genuine cooling sensation from the plant, not synthetic menthol engineered to feel aggressive. It fades in a minute.
What's lanolin?
Lanolin comes from sheep's wool. It's collected after shearing; the sheep are unharmed. Worth noting for vegan customers: lanolin and beeswax mean this balm isn't vegan.
Why isn't there tallow in the lip balm?
Similar to why we utilize a different formula for shampoo and conditioner; lips aren't like the rest of your skin. They have no oil glands of their own, so a lip balm's job is different: seal moisture in and condition deeply. Lanolin and beeswax do that job better than tallow would. Tallow earns its place where skin can drink it in. Putting it in the balm anyway would have just been branding, not formulation, and if an ingredient doesn't earn its place, it doesn't go in.
How long does a tube last?
Everyone uses it quite differently, but around 2–3 months of daily use. It's more balm than it looks — a single swipe is plenty... and I mean plenty.
Is the stick more hygienic than a finger-applied balm?
Yes. The push-up tube goes straight from the stick to your lips, so there are no fingers in the balm. Push up only a little at a time, as it doesn't twist back down.
